Bruce Ross


Bruce began Ross and Associates in 1997 with over 30 years of experience as a business entrepreneur. He has spent almost 25 of them in Taos. He has experience in finance, retail, manufacturing, management, construction management ,commercial and residential real estate.

During the 1980s he was a general partner and general contractor for the restoration of the Historic Taos Inn. He secured a listing for the Inn on the prestigious National Register of Historical Places. He became general manager after the Inn re-opened. The Inn operated with eight department managers and 104 employees.

During the early 1990s Bruce was the managing partner of Southwest Moccasin and Drum, a retail store and All One Tribe Drum, a manufacturing business. The store sold handmade Native American arts and crafts, and worked with artists and crafts people from the Taos Pueblo. They patented a new type of handle for hand drums, and successfully sold their products domestically and internationally in both wholesale and retail markets.

Bruce has served a number of community boards and been involved in various community initiatives. Hecurrently serves on the board of The Enchanted Circle Sirolli Project, and a member of the New Mexico Mediation Association and the Taos County Chamber of Commerce. He the chairman of the investment committee of the Taos Jewish Center and is a member of the investment committee of the Taos Community Foundation. He is a past board member of Casa de Corazon and Taos Talking Pictures.
